Surf Photography
If it’s a group or individual surf session, we’ll talk beforehand about skill level, surf conditions, safety, and general expectations.
I follow the “when in doubt don’t go out” rule, because the ocean is the ocean and I don’t take her lightly. We’ll look at the surf and make a plan for where to go and how far out, and then I’ll overshoot the ever living hell out of you and get you SO MANY PHOTOS you wont even know what to DO with yourself! Think of it like a documentary of your time out there—paddling, waiting, standing up, riding, jumping off, and feeling like you’ve got a little seal following you everywhere you go. It’s me. I’m the seal.
I can do private and group sessions, surf lessons, surf camps and contests.

Immersion
Immersion, a short film documentary, made and produced by Visible Productions LLC, about my ocean photography journey
I’ve always had a relationship with water and a love for photography, so I scraped together the funds to purchase a used camera and compatible waterproof housing case in 2020, that I’m still using today. I’m the third owner and I’m pretty sure it’s about 15 years old. It’s awesome. My shots in the ocean almost always reflect my feelings on land, and I (cautiously) love sharing that piece of my heart with others.
I slowly emerged from my shell in the ocean to also doing family photos (and seniors and couples and individuals and headshots) and events. I think I just love connecting with the environment around me, whether it’s the people or the scenery or shadows, ALL THE THINGS!
My relationship with photography is constantly morphing and changing and I’m so grateful for every good thing that’s come from it.
Take sweet care!
